Are you compliant?

If you or indeed your client do not have a scheduled service contract, check with the person responsible for maintaining your/their Refrigeration / air conditioning equipment and find out if the F-Gas requirements are being fulfilled i.e.

Records must be kept on each system with more than 3 kg of HFC refrigerant.

The records must include:

  • The quantity and type of F gas refrigerants installed in each system.
  • Any quantities of refrigerant added, record where leak found and repaired return visit not within 24hrs of repairs but before 1 Month expires and record and confirm leak tight.
  • The quantity of refrigerant recovered during servicing, maintenance and final disposal.
  • The identity of the company or personnel who performed the servicing or maintenance, as well as the dates and results of compulsory Annual equipment systems and also leakage detection system checks.

These records shall be made available on request to the competent authority.
